This privacy policy informs users of the website about the nature, scope and purposes of the collection and use of personal data by the operator.

The website is a purely static information site: there are no user accounts and no registration. The website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services and embeds no third-party scripts or content. No profiling takes place.

Personal data (e.g. name, e-mail address, telephone number) will only be processed and transmitted by the operator in a lawful manner – in particular for the fulfilment of contractual obligations, on the basis of the operator's overriding legitimate interests or on the basis of the user's consent.

The lawfulness of the data processing results from the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG), the Telecommunications Act (TKG 2021) and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). The legal basis is specifically stated for each of the following processing operations.

When you visit the website, your browser automatically transmits data to the server of our hosting provider for technical reasons. In so-called server log files, in particular the IP address of your device, the date and time of access, the page accessed and the browser used (user agent) are stored.

This data is not combined with other data sources and is not evaluated to identify individual users. The legal basis is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art 6 (1) (f) GDPR in the secure and stable provision of the website and in the defence against attacks and misuse.

The log files are stored only for a short period of time and are then deleted, unless a specific incident (e.g. an attack on the website) requires longer retention.

When you submit the contact form on this website, the details you entered (type of enquiry, preferred period, telephone number, e-mail address and your message) are transmitted to the server of our hosting provider and delivered from there directly by e-mail to office@skischule-moesern.com. The form content is not stored on the web server beyond that; any further processing takes place solely in our e-mail mailbox. The legal basis is your consent under Art 6 (1) (a) GDPR, given via the checkbox in the form, and Art 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures).

To protect against automated bulk submissions we limit the number of submissions per sender. For this purpose your IP address is not stored in plain text but only as a non-reversible hash value, which is deleted automatically after two hours at the latest. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the website against misuse under Art 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

If you contact us by e-mail at office@skischule-moesern.com, we process the information transmitted (e.g. name, e-mail address, telephone number, content of the enquiry) exclusively to handle and answer your enquiry and for any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures or performance of a contract). We retain these e-mails only for as long as is necessary to process your enquiry and to comply with statutory retention obligations.

You can also reach us by telephone or via WhatsApp. WhatsApp is a service provided by Meta Platforms; when you use WhatsApp, your data may also be processed outside the EU. In this respect, WhatsApp's privacy policy applies. If you prefer not to use it, please contact us by e-mail or telephone.

The fonts used on this website are stored locally on our server (self-hosted). When you visit the website, no connection to Google servers or other font providers is established; no data is transferred to third parties as a result.

For online booking of courses and reservation of rental equipment, the website links to the external booking system moesern.skischool.shop, which is operated by Waldhart Software GmbH. This is an independent website with its own controller.

Only when you click on such a link do you leave our website; data processing in the booking system is governed by its own privacy policy, available at https://moesern.skischool.shop/datenschutz/.

The website contains links to external websites of our partners (e.g. Interalpen-Hotel Tyrol, Snowtrex, Kayak, sport-seefeld.at) as well as to our Google reviews. These are plain links without embedded content – simply visiting our website does not transfer any data to these providers.

Only when you click on such a link do you leave our website. The respective operator is solely responsible for data processing on the linked pages; their privacy policies apply.

If the lawfulness for a specific data processing is based on the user's consent, this can be revoked at any time (also partially) by sending an e-mail to office@skischule-moesern.com.

Furthermore, the user has a right to information about the personal data concerning him, to data portability, to correction or deletion of personal data and to restriction of or objection to the processing of his personal data.
